The Artec Leo is the first 3D scanner to offer integrated automatic processing as well as provide an intuitive workflow that makes 3D scanning as easy as taking a video. As you scan your object, you can see the 3D replica being built in real time on Leo’s touch panel screen and you can rotate the 3D model, check if you have captured all areas, and fill in any parts you may have missed.
The Artec Leo takes handheld 3D scanning to the next level with a built-in battery, touch panel screen and wireless connectivity, giving you complete freedom of movement when you scan. Single-handed 3D scanning is easy and comfortable with the Artec Leo’s carefully balanced, ergonomic design, built with usability in mind. The only problem you will need to solve is to figure out exactly what you are going to do with your other hand!

The Artec Leo gives you true freedom in 3D scanning, thanks to a powerful embedded processor and inbuilt battery. Because there are no USB or mains power cables, you can walk freely around your scanning subject.

Whatever field our clients work in, be it design, reverse engineering or medicine, we at Artec want to make sure our scanners help them succeed in what they do. No tech glitch should cause their projects to stall or be delayed. With that in mind, we are introducing a new service, Artec Hot Swap, enabling the user to get a loaner in the shortest time possible in case their scanner needs to be sent away for repairs. As part of the service, Artec also commits to covering all shipping expenses to/from our service centre. Note that this contract is only available for Artec Eva and Space Spider 3D scanners.
Hot Swap is not unlike to an insurance plan, with the annual premium being USD 2,000. To help the customer save on contract renewal, we offer longer term Hot Swap plans:
The price includes a free loaner, which stays with the customer for the whole period while their scanner is unavailable. We provide the loaner before the scanner under contract is shipped to us for repairs and we take it back only after the scanner has been fixed and returned to the customer in perfect working condition.
